Nonviolent Communication Skills - A Process for Transforming Relationships and Creating the Beloved Community with Lisa Firestone
Thursdays Beginning May 1st from 6:30pm to 8pm |
In his book, Jim Lockard shares that in Beloved Community, "True compassion requires a degree of emotional maturity and spiritual poise." We're asked to "reveal and heal issues, to honestly confront them and compassionately make corrections." One way of doing this honestly and effectively, is integrating nonviolent communication principles with our Spiritual practices.
During this 5-week course, we'll practice skills to:
Connect with what Lockard describes as our "inner (Divine) authority;"
Listen, with a respectful curiosity for another's experience
Express ourselves authentically, connecting us even in our differences
Make requests that "make life more wonderful!"
Classes will be held Thursday evenings in May beginning May 1st from 6:30 to 8:00pm via Zoom.
Love offering is appreciated.
